Excellent book on God's creation of the universe

This is a long book, and parts are very tough to slog through if you are a non-scientist (science was my worst subject in school, so I was not breezing through this book), but I still highly recommend it. The author goes to great lengths to show what the current scientific views are on the creation of the universe, and then goes to great length to demonstrate how science has no answer other than God (which most scientists refuse to consider) to explain how the world was created out of nothing in the big bang. I don't think he mentions it, but until the big bang theory was almost universally accepted, it was widely derided by scientists as "creationism in disguise". Now that the big bang theory is "science", scientists are trying to explain how everything could happen on its own. Mr. Meyer does a good job demolishing their theories. I have bought two copies of this book, but no longer own either as I have given them to friends.

hard to read but very interesting to listen to

So, I'm not the most intelligent person out there, but I love to see Gods work in nature, and how we try to figure out how He put all this together for us. With that being said I tried to read this but quickly found out that was going to be incredibly hard due to the lack of my education and the extremely high level of Mr. Meyers education. I then decided to listen to the audio version and was completely blown away. The depth of his explanation of this hypothesis and many other theories that counter Gods creation was outstanding. Getting an elevated understanding of how our cosmos is so perfect and precise, and seeing how far the mainstream scientific community has to reach to try and prove their points actually made it so I don't wonder if my belief is wrong anymore. I know with all of my heart all this could only be done by a perfect intelligent designer. My God

WOW my mind was blown , this is my first time reading anything by Colleen , and man i loved it. words can't describe how much i'm in love with this piece of art , i LOVE this book. i knew there was a huge hype about this book but i tried not getting it spoiled i picked it up without even reading the description so every event that occurred left me shocked , i didn't know where the story was heading but that made me enjoy it even more. Colleen is a gift to earth , i will read more of her books now , i wasn't expecting it to be this good I'm trying to give my opinion about the book without spoiling anything , but oh man , i loved Ryle so much. all the characters were so well done warning : if you do read this book , you will cry a lot

This is one of those great books that really makes you think. No matter which side of the equation you fall, you can see from someone else's point of view. I've had experience with the issue in this book, but I've never really thought about it from all sides. At the end, it says something about stopping the cycle. I think about my mother, grandmother and myself. Then I think of my daughter. That is a major message. As for the actual story, it really sucked me in. For me, if I get really into how it will turn out or if it draws my emotions out, it's a winner. It Ends with Us did both.

Charm City Spouses Club was like reuniting with old friends. The cast of characters is still one like I have not encountered in my lifetime. The blend of diverse characters adds humor and a variety of approaches to the situations in the story. The nonstop adventure weaves through so many twists and turns that the reader doesn't see coming. Charm City Spouses Club keeps you on the edge of your seat with bursts of out loud laughter as the colorful characters interact. While it has a lighthearted feel, the story does not lack in action packed adventure.

If you're going to play jazz, this is the book to get. It has all the jazz standards with suggested chords. It's a simple jumping off point to get you started on jazz classics. \r\n \r\nI'm a guitarist who played rock 'n roll for most of my life. But I have listened to jazz for a long time and decided to give that a try. It's like learning a new language: chords, rhythm, soloing, etc. The Real Book doesn't have guitar tabs, so brush up on your staff reading. \r\n \r\nAll jazz players have it, so you might as well get it!

Cormac McCarthy's magnus opus. I enjoyed it more than "Blood Meridian." One of the craziest books I have ever read, which is based on a real life movie. It is a very violent book, but it is written so well. I have bought this book for a lot of my family as a birthday gift.\n\nThe storytelling is fantastic, the dialect and conversations make the writing of this book the best, the finale is fantastic, and the historical details are awesome!

I have loved all the CoHo books I have read but this one really surpassed all her others. I'm not sure if it is because it hit so close to home with my personal life and my experience of being in an abusive marriage or if she just stepped up her game. This book digs deep into the struggles both physically and mentally in an abusive relationship and she tackles the tough subject far better than many.

I rarely review books but this one required me to, because of some of the dark nature of this i almost quit reading it but so glad I hung in, life changer. I’m about to reread Otto get supports in place for coming monumental life challenge, it teaches a path not just for survival but for living. I bought extra copies to pass on to my kids and friends

So eye opening and freeing! We were all horn intuitive eaters, but sneaky diet culture becomes louder than our internal cues and voice. This book presents the research in a way that’s very easy to understand. And I love that there are applicable steps to help us tune into our inner signals and embrace them!

A good read although outside of my genre (I don't usually go for romance novels). This one was different in that there was a more serious angle centered around abuse, but it still had the hallmarks of a romance novel with the language and descriptions (I am still not over the last line in the book - so cheesy and disappointing). I am not sure I would read others from this author, but did enjoy the pace of this one and how the characters developed over the course of the book.

First of all, wow. I went into this book expecting a typically romance novel and for the first third/half of the book, things proceeded as I anticipated. Then, I slowly began to realize I was reading a very different kind of book, about a different kind of relationship. That being said, I feel I learned a lot from this book and I will likely look at abusive relationships differently from now on. This book is well worth the read, even for those who typically wouldn't pick up a book like this.
